A glass shower enclosure makes a bathroom look brighter and larger. Before requesting a quotation, it helps to decide a few points.
1. The layout
Is the shower in a corner, between two walls, or over a bathtub? The layout decides how many glass panels are needed.
2. The opening
Hinged doors need free space to open; sliding doors save space in small bathrooms; a fixed panel (walk-in) has no door at all.
3. Accurate measurements
Measure the width and the height of the opening, and note whether walls and floor are straight. Final measurements are usually confirmed on site before production.
4. The look
Clear glass shows off tiles; frosted or sandblasted areas add privacy. Fittings come in different finishes to match your taps.
5. Easy care
Wiping the glass after each use with a squeegee keeps it clear and limits limescale.
When you add Shower Glass to your quotation list, write the layout and approximate measurements in the notes.
